SYNOPSIS

The documentary shows the lives of the Ngargomulyo villagers, located on the slopes of the Merapi volcano (Java, Indonesia) centered around a double development issue.
It primarily reflects the activities of the local association SPTN, a partner supported by the CCFD-Terre Solidaire, concerning the training and promotion of organic farming among villagers.
It also highlights the realization by SPTN of an innovative and democratic initiative concerning risk management, which is part of the “Mia Vita ” research project (Volcanic Risk Management) under the aegis of CNRS (French National Research Institute).
